This is pretty English-related, so I'm going to let you all know about a really great opportunity PV is offering this year.

For the 2008 school year, we will be presenting two plays and a musical. The first play, Museum, has passed already, but our upcoming play, Disorientation, is slated for a public read-through in January and a formal performance in May. What separates this play from Museum is that this work will make its debut at PV. It was written by the very talented local playwright Mike Anton, and it's going to be a very unique opportunity to be the original cast of a new play.

The information meeting for Disorientation is at 3:30PM, Tuesday, December 2nd, with auditions at 3:30PM, Thursday, December 4th. Everyone is welcome to attend regardless of experience or previous involvement in the PV theater program.

I knew this would end up happening...

Hi, I'm Liz! Chances are I go to your school.

I created this blog for my second period English class, and I'm not really sure where to start. I guess I'll just list a few things about myself.

My name is Liz.
I'm a junior.
I'm really into theater, music, and art.
I think I'd like to go to the New Hampshire School of Art and Design for college, even though it's extremely cold and sort of in the middle of nowhere. I'm also interested in SUNY Purchase and the Philadelphia School of Art and Design.
When I'm out of school I'd like to be an Illustrator.
I listen to Pink Floyd, The Doors, Badly Drawn Boy, and Bat Boy: The Musical. And an inordinate amount of showtunes.
My favorite movies are Persepolis, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Little Shop of Horrors, A Christmas Story, and The Dark Knight.
My favorite shows are 30 Rock, The Office, Scrubs, House, Pushing Daisies, Chuck, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and The Colbert Report.
My favorite color is yellow.
My favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye.
I like lumberjack hats.
I have a dog. He can count.
My favorite holiday is Halloween followed up pretty close by Christmas.
I'm pretty quiet but I actually have a lot to say.
